The ASC D40 (Dragonfly 40) is a purpose-built heavy duty industrial vacuum designed to work in the worst environments possible. Hand built in Italy by global vacuum leader Sibilia, the Dragonfly 40 is a unique standalone product that takes mobile vacuuming to a whole new level.
The machine can be configured in diesel or electric powered versions. The most popular Dragonfly 40 sold worldwide is the Diesel Powered 55.4 kW all-in-one unit. It can be mounted on a mobile platform (trailer or truck) or used as a standalone machine; an all-in-one system ready to work anywhere, anytime.
The D40’s hopper is equipped with cyclonic technology to eliminate any dust emissions, and the machine is fitted with a quick release hopper unloading system. The unique build design allows the vacuum hose to reach 100 meters, making the ASC D40 the ideal cleaning partner for industries including aluminium, brick, steel, timber, mining, agriculture, construction and grain.
HEPA filtration, automatic filter cleaning and flexible hopper discharge
The ASC D40 features a large capacity filtering surface for maximum filtration. A secondary HEPA filter is also fitted, ensuring 100% dust capture. The automatic filter cleaning system keeps the machine operating at full performance throughout extended shifts.
Hopper discharge can be via a separate bag or large skip, giving operators the flexibility to manage collected material efficiently on site. The fast discharge of debris into a disposable bag is one of the D40’s key operational advantages.
The ASC D40 can vacuum up both wet and dry material and excels in handling hazardous materials. Most common uses are the extraction of ash, alumina, excrement, gravel, lime, cement, grain and rocks. The machine is designed for use in tunnels, silos, attics, conveyor belts and elevator platforms.
