The client
Arharidis Brothers is a grocery production business based in Virginia, South Australia. Owned and operated by brothers Terry and John Arharidis, the company is recognised as one of the largest capsicum farms in the Adelaide region, supplying fresh produce directly to Coles and Woolworths across the country.
The scale of the operation and the importance of the supply relationships the company maintains means that maintaining clean, professional and hygienic packing, storage and cool room facilities is an ongoing priority.
The challenge
The nature of large scale farming means constant exposure to dust, farm soil and tyre rubber dust generated by vehicle and equipment movements across the property. At the Arharidis Brothers facility in Virginia, this material was regularly entering the packing sheds, storage areas and cool rooms from the farm environment, creating a persistent cleaning challenge across the company’s internal facility spaces.
Terry and John reached out to Luke Skrinjaric, the locally based Adelaide ASC representative, and asked him to attend their Virginia site in person, inspect the facility and recommend a simple and reliable solution to their cleaning needs.
The result
Luke visited the Arharidis Brothers property, inspected the packing shed and cool room areas, and organised a demonstration of the ASC Eureka M1 electric sweeper on site. The machine performed flawlessly during the demonstration, producing an instant clean and dust free result across the facility floor.
Terry and John placed an order for the ASC Eureka M1 on the strength of the demonstration. Luke personally delivered the machine to the Virginia property from the ASC Elizabeth West warehouse in Adelaide, ensuring the team was set up and operational from day one.
