The client
Anchorage Apartments is a residential apartment complex situated in Hope Island in Southeast Queensland. The development is positioned as an address of distinction in the Hope Island area and maintains its presentation to a standard that reflects the quality of the property and the expectations of its residents.
The facility includes a multi storey car park and surrounding grounds, both of which require regular maintenance to keep the complex clean and presentable on a daily basis.
The challenge
Manager Greg was looking for a suitable machine to address two distinct cleaning requirements across the Anchorage Apartments facility. The first was the multi storey car park, where tyre dust and general debris from the vehicle movements of residents and visitors accumulates continuously across the car park floor levels. Tyre dust in particular builds up rapidly in enclosed and semi enclosed car park environments and requires a sweeper with effective dust capture capability to manage properly.
The second requirement was the grounds and outer areas of the complex, where leaves accumulate from the surrounding vegetation and need to be swept up and removed on a regular basis to maintain the presentation standard the development is known for.
Greg spoke to ASC’s Tony Rowe, who assessed both requirements and guided the team toward the right machine for the application.
The result
Following Tony Rowe’s guidance, Anchorage Apartments chose the ASC Eureka M2 tyre dust sweeper for the facility. The M2 was specified with an additional vacuum pack attachment to allow the team to clean the hard to reach areas of the multi storey car park and grounds that the main machine cannot access in its standard configuration.
The combination of the M2’s tyre dust sweeping capability and the vacuum pack attachment gave the Anchorage Apartments team a complete solution for both the car park and the grounds cleaning requirements in a single machine.
