Manag Distributors are based in the popular industrial suburb of Osborne Park on the north side of Perth. Manag Distributors are a locally owned warehouse, fully stocked in top flooring supplies, such as Crain, Diplomate and Ardex to name just a few. They carry commercial Vinyl, Carpet tiles, hybrid planks, synthetic turf and adhesives for each.
The Challenge:
Manag Distribution is a very busy place; the warehouse has a constant flow of goods in and out, with the building industry being in a building boom.
The walkways in the warehouse were soiled by forklift rubber, making a mess on site.
They wanted a solution to prevent pieces of wood chip from wood pallets, getting caught in the forklift tyres.
The Solution:
Manag Distributors purchased a Eureka MEP push sweeper with dust control back in 2008, the date which is marked on the sweeper. In 2018 they replaced the rubber dust skirts on the machine and now after 14 years of service, it was due to retire.
Manager David Heptinstall called the ASC WA Area Manager, to ask for a price on a new MEP push sweeper.
The price had risen a little since they purchased last.
David said he was happy to purchase a new ASC MEP sweeper, as over the last 14 years, the only change he noted was the colour. The older one being red/white and the newer one now a green colour.
The Result:
Ross was able to get the order sorted, David arranged prompt payment of the invoice and within 48 hours, the new MEP sweeper was on the floor next to the retiring sweeper. It proves not all sweepers are built the same.
